Sales Director – San Francisco, CA

Description:

The ideal candidate is a former sales manager and leader with a proven ability to sell to C level executives in a complex selling environment. This is an enterprise-class sales position where you will be expected to be on equal business statue persons you will be selling to and consulting with.  

Your territory is your business and you are an entrepreneur owning pipeline generation and closing revenue. You are passionate about the disciplines of sales productivity and sales management and excited to create a new market category with us. You will be engaging in strategic conversations with sales and marketing executives. You will be guiding CEOs, CROs and CMOs to think strategically about the future of their sales teams and their enablement programs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets
  • Create a results-driven territory plan with focus on revenue-generating prospecting activity
  • Outreach to prospects with your own marketing and nurture campaigns using email, voice, and social channels
  • Evangelize the SalesHood vision through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account specific initiatives
  • Management and ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle
  • Uncover customer challenges and map value to solution
  • Confidently present to c-level executives
  • Handle multi-threaded executive selling and decision making processes

 

Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years of B2B selling experience, preferably selling SaaS
  • Previous management experience
  • Experience selling to the C-Suite of customer facing organizations
  • Proven track record of overachieving quota year over year (top 10 to 20%) in past positions
  • Experience with the sales methodology and sales training ecosystem
  • Experience selling to new adopters
  • 50% travel required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
