SalesHood is a community where salespeople learn from each other and mentor each other. SalesHood inspires sales teams to share real life sales experiences and best practices. SalesHood helps sales managers facilitate engaging conversations among sales teams that are educational, impactful and fun. The result is highly motivated and productive salespeople. The SalesHood Story The word “SalesHood” emerged as a concept to us upon reflection on what makes sales teams great. Successful sales teams shared with us that they felt connected to one another. They learn from each other. Successful sales teams have a shared experience and consciousness around how to sell and how to win. With this feedback in mind, we thought a lot about the words community, consciousness, and experience in the context of the sales world. Words like “Zen” emerged as inspirational concepts. We landed on the word selfhood meaning “…a fully developed self.” We asked ourselves: “What would a fully developed sales professional look like? How would a salesperson realize his or her full potential better and faster? The word SalesHood emerged and the amazing part of this story is that the URL was available, too! On March 15, 2013, we registered the domain. Below is an image of the first time the founders of SalesHood met.
